Steel for the preschool area arrived this last week and workers have begun lifting it into place and welding it together.


Work continues on the parking lot. This last week they finished digging out parts of the old lot to make it level with the new lots and new building. They also finished the soil stabilization process by mixing lime into the soil. This next week they will be adding curbs in preparation for more asphalt. 
As you drive through the parking lot at night, you’ll notice that many of the lights have been put back into place.
The old second phase building by 13th street continues to be re-faced. When finished, its windows and brick will match the rest of the building. 
This has been a busy week on the building site. They started working on another big portion of the parking lot as walls for the new section continue to rise. Steel work is scheduled to start next week.
More foundations are being poured in the elementary section which is located in the north part of the new building closest to the movie theater.
This is the foundation for the elevator that will take you to the second floor in the elementary section.
The walls to the new kitchen are have started to go up.
Electricians have been busy pulling wire and preparing to install new parking lot lights.

Excavators have been working on making the parking lots fit together. In a few weeks we should have even more parking.

More parking is complete! There are a total of 325 new parking spaces to the west by I94 and to the south by the water retention pond. Crews finished paving these sections yesterday, and painted the stripes earlier this afternoon.


Asphalt is being laid today on the expanded parking lot to the west by I94. This should be striped and ready to use by Sunday!



Walls for the elementary section are going up fast.
These are the foundations for the new food service area.
